Why does my boyfriend no longer seem intrested with me?

I’ve been with my current boyfriend for about a year. He means the world to me. We both want to stay together forever and he tells me he loves me. But I just dont know anymore.. He is sort of becoming an alcoholic and most days he is either drinking, not answering his phone or with his friends of whom are no good for him. I feel like he chooses them over me like I am worthless. Just this month alone he has left me after work or almost anywhere numerious times and as I write this he is no where to be found. I am getting real sick of this but I cant leave him. It is impossible. What should I do? How can I get him to listen to what I have to say, how do I take charge and take things back to the way they were a couple months ago. Please I need advice! Thank you.

You need to talk to him, sit him down when hes not drinking, when his friends arent around, cell phones off, no distractions and talk to him about everything. Bring up things how you feel sort of “left behind” and especially bring up his friends. If he has friends that are bad for him he needs to know, sooner or later if he lets them stick around he will become one of them. Give it a bit to see what will happen, if you see he is not changing you have to end it. If you do end it make sure you tell him that you told him already what you needed and he didnt do that for you so you were forced to break up with him. I hope I helped, let me know. -Candace
