Why does it take me so long to do my homework?

are you distracted? that might be your problem

Are you distracting yourself? Doing homework is very frustrating but its better to get it done as quickly as possible with no outside distractions whatsoever. If thats not the case then it might have something to do with you not being able to understand the homework assignment itself. That means you either need to pay attention in class or ask the teacher for help or another classmate.

no me and strawb3rry go to the same school and we have LOOOTTT of homework!!! on time we had to do a whole rough draft for homework!!! even when I do how for like 2 hours and donmt take a break, im STILL not done!!! its just our teachers, trust me.

I don’t get the problem, your not asking for help you seem to want someone to agree with you that you have a lot of work to do and your teachers are the ones to blame. If it takes that long even when your not distracted why not make the work more enjoyable, no one said homework had to be boring you can turn it into a game ;)

I’m guessing since you and strawberry go to the same school you guys do homework together? Then why not turn it into a race of some sort? That way it quickens the pace of the work itself. Surely then it will be quicker, if not just take your time to get it done properly.

It takes you forever to do it because you procrastinate! I have the same problem!! Just try to stay away from any distractions! Listen to music while doing your homework! That always helps =)

Finish one thing before you start the next. Don’t listen to music, text, answer the phone, or do anything that isn’t homework. There was a recent study done on high ranked college students who considered themselves good at multi-tasking. They found out differently.

Then why are you asking for advice? I mean you obviously found someone to blame it on. Blaming your teachers for the homework isn’t going to get it done by the way.

How about changing your attitude towards it? That should improve the speed with which you do it.
