Why do we fall in love?

Or not to be so drastic, how and why do people develop feelings for others. I mean, I dunno if this has ever happened to you but have you ever really liked someone but you just don’t quite know why, but you just do? How’s that explained?

It’s human nature to feel attraction and feelings for people. Love is just another emotion along with fear/sadness/happiness.
