Why do they guys act like this?

OK its a bit difficult to explain which means it might sound a bit petty but… The boys in my school dont seem to have any respect for me. They think that they always know best. If I say a fact which is obviously right, they say im defo wrong. The same happens in soccer and basketball, im the only girl that plays but I have to because of my gcse. I dont know what to do as a I have a big confidence issue anyway. My friends say that the guys are jealous as I am better than them, I personally dont think so. How can I ignore them? what can I do? why are they like this?

I Know its hard ignore them I understand But I think there jealous because you might be good basketball and everything just carry on and just ignore them I know its hard but I have the same thing
