I am 15 and I made the decision to remain a virgin until marriege or at least until I’m mature enough to handle the consquences and responsibility that comes with giving away my special gift. Teens are unable to handle a mature decision like this without making fun of someone or having something to say. Most of them are shallow and do not understand, which is why the teenage pregnancy rate is so high.

The boys at my school think that people like me who can speak intelligently, walk with confidence and keep away from the drama must have something to hide or are either lying about their sexuality and hiding it by saying their a virgin. There have been times when I’ve questioned the issue of remaining a virgin and enduring the teasing or just having sex to get it over with. I’m not about to be like everyone else and that’s exactly what these immature kids think. It’s not okay to follow what everyone else is doing.

Just listen to your heart not the other idiots out there. They do it simply out of peer pressure and their lack of knowledge.

I am totally with you all on this 1… people shouldnt lose their virginity just because their friends are doing it…or because of peer pressure…its harsh, its wrong it doesnt make it anymore enjoyable than what you would feel if you do it when your ready and with the right person…

1 guy tried to get into my knickers and guarrenteed at the time I liked him but the way he was doin it made me uneasy so I didnt do it I said no and was proud to say no!

oki so im not a virgin now becuase I chose to lose it to my current boyfriend who I’ve been with for just over a year now…it was the best choice I chose… and the fact I was 20 when I lost it, he had patience with me, he helped me along and didnt make me feel pressured so it was worth it

basically yeah… its not worth having someone to push you into losing your virginity if your not ready to :)

well I respect you for wanting to wait and share it with somebody special!!, as your virginity is a special thing, and I only wish I had waited!! the thing is IF YOU are not ready, or like you are waiting to share your virginity with somebody special and you do meet the mr right you have been waiting for, if he cares for you and loves you he will respect your answer, an well… if he doesnt then hes not worth holding on to!! and hes nothing but a jak a$$

I think that teens get teased for being virgins is because they think that only kids are virgins and losing their virginity makes you look mature. I personally want to preserve my virginity for someone who I think is worth it. Obviously if someone lost their virginity because of that then they basically lost it to fit in with their friends. A perfect example of peer pressure.

Answer #5

I think that when other people have done it they think there all high and mightyy but there not. if you get teased it shouldnt really matter. people are just stupid and mean these days
