Why do I suddenly get headaches all day every other day?

I am generally a headache-free person, except when it’s that time of the month. And even then I only get a headache usually the day before my period. Lately, for about the past 2 weeks or so, I have been getting excruciating headaches, right behind my eyes, about every other day on average. Normally when I take Advil, my headache goes away within an hour. But since this started happening, Advil does absolutely nothing. I’ll take 4 like I normally do, and it won’t do anything. So an hour or two later I’ll take 4 more, still won’t do anything… The pain is so bad that it had me in tears a couple of times. I was hoping it would be something that would just pass but now I am getting very worried. I know I should see a doctor and I am going to make an appointment, but in the meantime I would appreciate any input as to why you think I might be getting these headaches. What is causing them? Is there something wrong with me? For the record, there have not been any lifestyle changes in the past 2 weeks that would trigger the headaches. Everything has been the same. But this is really starting to scare me…and take a toll on my well being! Help!?

You should see a doctor! The only thing I could think of would be tiredness, anxiety or very bad stress problems, but like you say its all been fine in your life lately so am confused on what it would be. Get it looked at though by a doctor sounds serious :(

  1. It could be your eye problem .Have your eye check as soon as possible
  2. You might have a migraine ?
  3. Or not enough sleep?
  4. Or Vitamin C and D deficiency ?
  5. If menstrual cycle is irregular sometimes it hurts and bloated / tender in a breast part
  6. Hormonal changes maybe? 7, It could be certain food you ate that causes headache ( check your eating habits- Check the food guide )

You can probably need 7 to 8 hours sleep, drink a lot of water, orange juice, also camomile tea to relax you that can put you to sleep. Also walk or push up ( exercise ) and keep taking Advil or Tylenol for pain, You can also do meditation, after that take a warm shower, massage therapy is needed to relax your muscle to relieve you head ache, It is good for you to fall asleep at night. Or you can ask your mother to massage you. If still pain persist for another week you should see your physician right away.
