Why do I still get yellowy discharge when I have started my period?

I started my period In January, but I still get discharge like I got before I had started my period..? I am thirteen years old, and it is disgusting. Yellow, just the same as before and JUST as heavy! Help me please xx

are you sexually active?? and do you use condoms? yellow discharge is generally uncommon and I would see the gynocologist…

You will always have discharge; it’s your body’s way of cleansing itself. But if it is thick and has an unfresh odor, I would definately keep an eye on it and maybe get Vagi Gard or Monistat.

Really? Its yellow, is that normal? And No im not sexually active, only recently started my period, will it really last forever, its still quite heavy? Thank you!

Sometimes, yes yellow discharge is expected and sometimes no, it’s not normal. It might surprise you some of the causes of it, like sexual excitement or emotional distress. And having discharge is just part of being a woman. It will always be there, but it will not always become noticed. Most of the time, I don’t even notice mine and sometimes it’s a bit heavier than before.
