Why do I sleep in all the time no mater what time I go to bed?

I am 16 years old I love to stay up late and sometimes I go to bed early for example I went to bed at 7 at night the other day and woke up at 2 in the afternoon the next day I always sleep in I dont know what to do im sleeping my life away I know I should go to the doctor but my parents wont let me go what can I say to them or do so I wont sleep my life away some guy said I need sex in my life and some one said I need a regular schedule but wit my life it is not possible if you are going through this give me advice

Ugh… of course a guy would say that! Ignore that advice!!!

It could be something as simple as your body needing the rest. From having a crazy schedule it has probably taught your body to catch sleep when it can.

Also, when you wear gold (at least 14 carat) does it leave a black mark on your skin? Is it worse when you get your period?

If so it might be anemia. Don’t freak. Most folks these days have at least mild anemia. It’s just a lack of iron in the blood. Eat some Iron rich foods (greens, broccoli, red meats, liver (if you can stand it. I can’t but I love green veggies.) and try to get to bed on a regular basis and get up at the same time, even on weekends for about a week or two. See if that helps.

Anemia is common in young women. Your body needs more iron. If that doesn’t help then take a good look and see if there might be some emotional issues that you aren’t dealing with or avoiding. Just as that can cause insomnia it can also cause you to sleep more so that you can avoid reality more. I don’t know your situation well enough to really know so I’m just throwing different options out there.

If nothing helps look online for nurse help hotlines. They might be able to point you in the right direction or give you more suggestions until your mom and dad will let you go to the doctor.

Also..regular exercise will help as well. Even just a walk around the block after dinner or something can help.

I watched something this morning that mensioned this and it said that you need to get sunlight? so mybe if you dont go outside in the day often this is whats causing it? try going for half an hour walks or just doing somehing outside, or maybe een sitting by a bright window! lol hope it helps :)

I used to be able to sleep for like 2 hole days if I was let…lol… I found out I have anemia… thats what made me so tired all the time .. maybe your the same ?? its really common in teenage girls… I have to take iron tablets every day and go for regular blood tests:(… but I dont sleep in anymore…lol.. If it is that you have you will feel much better as soon as you start taking the iron… go to a doctor and get a blood test ! … Xo:)
