Why do I have one large breast which aches and sore nipples?

For the last month and half I have noticed that my right breast has become much larger than the left one, at least a cup size and maybe more. When knocked it aches and throbs from time to time. This has become very uncomfrotable for me as I hate getting changed in front of people and hurts when I lay on them. Also, my nipples are very tender and sore to touch, does anyone know the reasons for this? Much appreciated!

I doubt I would be pregnant but can not remember how many weeks my last period was. I’m very bad with memory! I have just done a test and was negative. Or is this to early to tell!

I suggest seeing a doctor. The fact that your breast is hard and sore is definitely something to be checked out.

That happens to me all the time…ok not all the time, but once a month. I think it’s perhaps because you are soon to see your period. Remember there are different signs/clues given to a woman when they are about to see their “friend” every month. Some have really bad cramps, others start to break-out (pimples) and others like in your situation start to feel pain/aches/and soreness in their breasts (including nipples). If you are positivie that you are not pregnant, then you really shouldn’t worry.

-However remember to go to the doctor for further information if they pain does not go away or lasts really long.

Thanks for helping guys! And as to my period, I have never had this symton before. Usually it’s the odd cramp and a belly ache, but never any issue with boobs! This is the reason for my concern.
