Why do I have a deep hole in my chest area?

Why do I have a deep hole in my body (chest area) my mum said when she was going to give birth to me they had to cut her open and get me out is that the reason why I have that? And how can I get rid of it because im scared of taking my t shirt off in the pool

Answer #1

its usualy genetic. my brother and his dad have that propblem.

Answer #2

Hey man I had the same freaking problem and it is embarrasing to take your shirt off. What I had to do was get a metal plate inserted. now my freinds call me metal chest. =-)

Answer #3

hey if you were delivered by c section this should have nothing to do with your incaved chest I d sugest going to the doctors

Answer #4

There’s a problem with your sternum and I think the only way to fix it is by having a metal plate put in there to hold it out, but that requires major surgery.

Answer #5

It’s called a c-section and I’ve had 2 of them. One was planned because my daughter had to be taken early so I could start radiation therapy for Hodgkins Disease (Cancer) and the other time was an emergancy because my soin was coming out with his neck bent backwards. He would have died instantly and I may have too. Anyway, what was your question? Oh, why don’t you check with a doctor and ask him what can be done?

Answer #6

Hey its part of you theres prob nothing you can do about it except ignoring its there. My nephew had part of his bowel outside of his body when he was born and needed a major op. Now he has a massive scar going all the way from his chest to his belly button. He has lived with it all his life and let me tell you he is 14 this yr and the ladies lurvvve him regardless. I think he gets more attention because of it and he is always getting asked how he got it etc.

Answer #7

Probably nothing to be embarrassed about.

It certainly won’t stop people wanting to have sex with you.

Answer #8

It’s called bird chest my friend drew had it but he had surgery. My boyfriend has it and my friend Cole has it so you’re not the only one bud.

Answer #9

I was a cesarean, and my chest is anything but a hole. The way you were given birth, is completely irrelevant.

It depends how it looks. I’ve seen some guys who have a chest cavity because they’re really, really skinny. Ask your doctor the next time you get a checkup, if your really concerned about it. But it doesn’t sound like something that’s too important. It might go away as your older. :)
