Why Do I Feel like They Ignore Me?

Two of my friends, Sadie and Julie have been best friends since middle school, and have practically been inseparable since. They do everything with each other, and spend all the time in the world with one another. I’m a lot more closer to Sadie though. However, I have lunch with the two of them and half the time, I feel as if the two of them ignore me because they’re both caught up in their own little conversations, and make it seem as if I’m not even there. Sure, they’ll talk to me and say hi, though it’s like the two of them are different towards me when they’re not together. They are the nicest people when they’re not together all the time. Like I said before, I’m not closer to Sadie and she can be very honest with me, and she tells me that she’ll get sick of Julie at times. I mean, I could be wrong, though why do I feel as if they ignore me? I have another friend who sits with us, though she’s only there for half the year.

I wouldn’t worry about it - they both like you and want you included - they’re not making any effort to avoid you, you’re fine !!

Well they are leaving you out, which is unfair! option 1 You could talk to them and explain that you are feeling left out, and ask them to stop isolation themselvs awayfrom everyone else option 2 You could make other friends and have them sit with you and yall could become close, which would solve your problem Option3 You just talk to the other girl eventhough she is leaving it will make you feel not so left out. Hope it Helps C:

Sometimes people have a hard time seeing what is right in front of them. When you feel left out, the temptation is, for you, to make the people that have excluded you remorsefull for their behavior. Unfortunitly, how most of us do this is by being unfriendly to them. Ironicly, we become hostile to thoes that are hostile to us. How you handle this sitution is your decision, but before you act ask yourself “Has this sitution hurt me so much that I will let it change me into a person that I don’t like to be around.”
