Why do guys do this?

Me and this guy went out for a little while then we broke up and stopped talking for a little while. Then we started talking again and became best friends told eachother everything. The we both told eachother how much we loved eachother. We couldnt help it then one day he told me that we couldnt be together he loves me and always will but its too hard. He said this was the last time he’ll talk to me and he’s deleting my number. I just wonder why did he do this?

I think hes afraid to commit to a relationship it seems like he really does like you. “boys” just want to get in pants and out with out any complications. guys dont like to be owned they just wanna be free.
