Why do boys make fun of virginity?

Okay well this boy I know is 14 and has had sex with 4-5 girls already! And he tells me that he wish he had waited, but then he starts calling me tight, and making front of me because im a virgin & praticing abstinence. why does he do this? Do men respect women who are saving themselves? Or do they think thats overrated?

If he is doing this in front of other people then it’s just for attention or because he needs to feel he is better then you. It’s also very shallow of him and don’t be shy to call him on it. The fact that he admitted regret might also indicate that in a way he is jealous of you because he wasn’t able to or regrets that he didn’t wait. The fact that you practice abstinence confronts him to his own sexuality and how it makes him feel. Maybe through your abstinence, he has realized that he isn’t that proud abut what he’s done. it’s hard to know exactly what is getting at him to be so disrespectful of you but whatever you do, don’t let him get away with it. Tell him you respect his choices and he should respect yours.

because they are azzholes. and dont know how to respect people so the thing is, your going to get crap from basicaly everyone…so your going to to have to not only deal with it but ignore it. but also when people say that half of the time they never go through but im not saying all cases but a lot but anyways hes justa jerk ignore it
