Why did they only use Mustard gas in WW1?

I’m just curious, why was Mustard gas used in world war one and not world war two?

They used mustard gas because it killed and it was wasnt an expensive weopon at the time. It was a painful death!! ideal for a war !! This gas did unthinkable damage to your skin and then the gas would penetrate into your lungs and eventually lead you to death.

they used mustard gas in ww1 because if you got it on your skin it would burn it of and get into your lungs and then you would die and it was the cheapest gas you could get at the time the only bad thing about it was if the wind was facing you , you would die and not the people you wanted to kill

They didn’t use it in WWII because of a lot of advancements in war technology. They had bigger and better things to use.

cause it would kill you in a matter of seconds and after it was used once they saw it as immoral and wrong against humanlife :) I hope this helps

No one used any poison gas in WWII due to fear of retaliation with the use of Poison Gas.
