Why did he say I'm fun?

I met a guy a few months ago and we live about 3 hours from one another. We have met up a few times for dinner and walks. Last night was the first time we were intimate, and right in the middle he said “you’re fun.” What does that mean? Is it bad? Does that mean he doesn’t take me seriously?

I’m sure he meant it as a compliment. Maybe he meant that he only sees you as a playtoy for sex, but I doubt it. I bet he just meant that you were really good and he enjoyed what you were doing together. If it’s really bothering you, then you could ask him what he meant. I bet that he probably doesn’t even remember saying exactly those words – it was probably just something to say in the moment, and he thought he was complimenting you. He could have just as easily said, “you’re sexy,” or “you’re great”, or “you’re terrific”… but he said “you’re fun.” I wouldn’t worry about it.
