Why did he call me for?

Okay so this guy called me on wednesday.he said if I was coming to school next year and I said yep.I asked him if he was coming next year and he said maybe.he’s one of the best friends of the I loved that year.what was curious was that he told me if I missed the boy that I liked,and if I liked the boy. I said yes,and he said”okay I need to hang up now” but I asked him if the guy was coming back and he said he didnt know.I asked him why he called and he said”you’ll know”,why did he call for?

Well obviously there are several possibilities here. If I were to take an educated guess, I would say that he is interested in you and that is probably what you were expecting to hear. The fact that he said he had to hang up isn’t what makes me believe he is interested in you, it is the “you’ll know” quote that brings me to that conclusion. Often people ask quick questions when they have to hang up, but his follow-up is a hint if you ask me.

Of course it is possible that he knows something you don’t and perhaps it could be a surprise in relation to it (eg. the guy you like might like you back, etc). However, you have asked us why we think he called. In my opinion, he called because he was interested in you and wanted to know a few things before making any kind of move. Though once again I remind you that it is not unlikely that he called for other reasons.
