Why can't I get a boyfriend?

You’re 14 - not having a boyfriend now is not the end of the world. Often guys can be really shy about asking girls out, even when they really want to - believe me I know. Don’t worry, it will happen for you, just give it time.

your exactly like me im rlly shy and quiet around other ppl but loud around my friends so i would just go up to a guy you like, that you think might like you and get to know him, a few weeks later ask him out, oh and always pick the quiet ones

Your personality is something like mine! Try talking to boys to see how they will react become friends with a boy and maybe things will work on it’s own trust me there is somebody for everybody your time will come but be patient and enjoy life because sometimes boyfriends can be a bad thing!

First off, the way you’re talking, it’s like you want a boyfriend as your latest accessory to match your handbag and shoes! Just because all your friends have them doesn’t mean that you have to have one too. If all your friends jumped off a cliff, would you follow the same trend? Boyfriends aren’t really something you go shopping for- it just kind of happens. If you spend every waking moment fixated on getting one, you’re more likely to be disappointed. Just chill out and make friends with guys. If there’s one you really like, get to know him a bit better. Let things happen naturally, don’t force them. And if you don’t have one, your world won’t come crashing down around you!

Its wierd. Its like a wek ago i thought these problems your talking about, well, it seemed like i was the only one that had them. I felt like i was so ready to have a boyfriend but now i dont know, maybe im too young and should just enjoy boys as friends. im only 13 and the problem is all the boys in my class are really imature. Its good to know im not the only one with these kinds of problems out there!
