Why Can't We Stay in Key?
I have recently observed that when one hears a song and sings it later you can remember the tune and lyrics only. No one can ever seem to remember the key the song is played in. Why is that?
Because it’s usually just the words people care about - I know for me songs just get stuck in my head and I just sing along to them. I think remembering the ‘key’ is usually something a singer focuses on but if you aren’t a singer you don’t really focus on that.
