Why can't I view photoshop pictures?

I use Photoshop 5(or 6) to bring up my scanned pictures and edit my photos.. but I can’t share them because they are not available. Even if I look at the icons for the pictures in “thumbnails”, it’s unable to show the actual image.. What is up with that?? what is the point of editing, if I cant use it? and I tried “send to email” but it dosn’t understand; it does nothing..

I’m assuming you didn’t save the picture as a type of image file. Maybe you left it as a photoshop document, which only photoshop or gimp can open.

save as a png or bmp as they are better quality than jpg
