Why can't I find a date?

I’m a junior in high school and fairly average. I’m 6’0” and black haired with very few pimples. I’ve tried asking people out, but I’m always turnd down. I’ve never kissed a girl, and I get very lonely sometimes because of it. What can I do to find somebody? If I’m asked I can upload a picture of myself if it would help…

I’m actually from Canada, on the border across from Detroit. Well, in my opinion, if you asked out a girl who had a girlfriend, she would probably just say no and that would be the end of that. no offence taken. what to say? personally, I think thats up to just try to carry a normal convo then I guess transition it into asking her out. just be casual. try not to be too akward. AND DO NOT ASK ANYONE OUT OVER THE INTERNET. I’m sorry, but that completly pisses me off. its just so …uh.

Answer #2

I will honestly tell you this- girls. are.shallow. most of the time they judge on looks or social status. or if you’ve ever said/done something offensive to someone popular. or maybe its the girls you ask out. what are they normally like?

Answer #3

haha, thats funny, the only succesful relationships I’ve had have been exclusively over the internet… and sorry, you sounded like you were from the states… maybe it was the lack of the word “eh” haha ;) jk. and thank you!

Answer #4

yah, I actually do know. personally, I think a different approach might work, maybe asking out a normal girl, maybe that you sort of know them enough but not enough to be considered awkward if it doesn’t happen.

Answer #5

have there been any signs that any of them have been interested in you or other guys? because that could always be a deciding factor.

Answer #6

not really, they just say it would be awkward to date me and then apologize, and drop the subject. and then about a week after I ask them, they’ve found another guy. I don’t know, all of the failures are just kinda depressing, ya know?

Answer #7

No, its really not. We’re kind of an affectionate group in general. Whenever we see each other we get all excited and rush up to each other and hug each other. I guess I’m just approaching them wrong, but I don’t know… I just don’t really know how to fix it.

Answer #8

the cliques thing sounds like my school! well, the problem with asking out girls who are good friends of yours( though sometimes its great), is that THEY don’t want to lose the friendship because it can get awkward. is it akward between you now?

Answer #9

Well, let me start by saying that I go to a very small school. The cliques are blurry at best. We have jocks that play d&d for example… But normally the girls I ask are good friends of mine. They are usually the “emo” type, but I’ve tried going into different groups…
