Why are females afraid to say they play video games?

show me a girl that games and I’ve found my wife

in all my time I’ve always asked girl friends ‘do you wanna go?’ and they always say no,,

have you never herd of the frag dolls?

Video games are usually associated with dudes. There is nothing more important to a girl than her self-image, and she doesn’t want to be known as “one of the guys.” She wants to be cute, she wants to be feminine, she does not want to be whisked away to the friend zone because all of the males she meets view her as just another dude. Every guy has a different perspective on how they view girls who enjoy video games, but a lot of girls are thought of as geeky or manly if they admit that they play or are interested in playing.

Then, of course, there are girls who DON’T like video games. But that’s a totally different subject.

I’m a girl and I absoutely LOVE video games!! I have ever since I was little. I love resident evil, simpsons, dbz, pretty much anything

well Im a mum and I play runescape regularly ( combat lvl 115) I also love Saints Row2, Fable 1 and 2, all the gta games, Vice city , San Andreas and various others. Games are for everyone no matter what your age or gender :)

because THEY THINK THAT PEOPLE ** GUYS WONT TAKE THEM AS SERIOUS WHEN IT COMES TO OTHER STUFF..AND SOME CHIKS THINK THAT ITS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE FOR BOYS..

That would be similar to girl looking for a guy trying to enjoy putting on make up.

Very unlikely, but their are women out their that do enjoy playing video games! Which I find so cool cause then we can kick each others rear ends you know!

There are some girls on here that do enjoy playing video games, you can talk to them about what they feel towards the gaming experience.

I agree, I’ve been trying for years to get my wife to start an account on WoW. But she does like playing the Wii. Unfortunately she always wants to play Mario Party and that gets boring pretty quickly.
