Why am I so depressed? Do I have my peirod?

Okay well I think I got my peirod. All day at school I felt perfectly fine. No cramps nothing. I am 13 turning 14 and very petite like 4,4 or 4,9 I don’t ectually know. When I go home I went to the bathroom and there was blood when I whiped down there and browish red on my underware. I got so nervous and scared so I told my mom and she said it is probely my period. I have to wear pads. Its just the pads feel weird and like it cant stay in place and like to far by my butt ha. When I went to the bathroom the toilet had some blood in it. Ugh I hate going to the bathroom. I feel like my family treats me different. I dont want to be a woman:(. I am so so depressed I cry a lot. Sorry if I sound weird but I am really nervous and upset.

Yes. you are starting your period. its nothing to be mad or nervous about. it’s just that your growing up. every girl goes thru what you are now. probably some even thought the way that you do. it’s just a part of life. oh there’s also nothing wrong with becoming a woman. :) and yeah the pads and everything will feel weird in the beginning but you’ll get used to them. if your family is treating you differently, it’s that they’r now noticing that your now a woman and that you have a different way of seeing things now. welcome to the woman world. :)
