whoever thinks having a college boyfriend is cool is so wrong.

My boyfriend of almost 2 years just left for college 2 days ago. It’s like the worst thing ever for me. It’s so hard knowing that he’s not going to be right here for me when I need him. I’m going from being with him just about everyday to once a month, if I’m lucky. What an adjustment that is for me to make. I don’t know how I’m supposed to do it. I can’t stop crying or feeling like I want to cry. I feel terrible all the time. We’re still together though, and the last thing I want is to break up or “take a break”. He’s the one for me, so I don’t want anyone else. I just need some tips on how to get used to this and get through the time I don’t have with him without being completely miserable. I don’t know why girls always think they’re cool with college boyfriends. I certainly don’t think there’s anything cool about this.

But any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m kind of desperate. Thanks.

You’re right. But things like this were meant to happen to test your relationship - don’t let it fool you and communicate with him about any worries you may have. Hiding the fact that your feeling like this from him wont make the feelings go away. Good luck though hun, hope things are okay &hearts;

Well I know how you feel there my boyfriend just started going to college too and he is to busy to talk like all the time and it sucks I didn’t get to see him that much in the first place and now I dont even get to really talk to him it does suck but if you really love him you can make things work and stick it out and just try to know that maybe the distance can show you how strong your guy’s relationship really is… anytime you want to talk im here for you cause I know exactly how you feel… it sucks but you can’t really change it… just try you best to be happy even without him there all the time.
