Who would pay $200 for a maxi dress?

Ok so there is this brand called forever new and it has a maxi dress for $200. Im not sure if I should buy it or not as it is a bit pricy and im worried I wont have anywhere to wear it to…but it is really really really nice and actually looks good on me: )

I would consider the wear you will get out of it first and foremost: you say you have nowhere to wear it, but could you accessorise it down to be a casual day to day outfit in the summer?

How old are you? If you think you have finished growing, then it might be worth investing in the dress if it really suits you. As long as you are not going to grow out of it, then it will keep for many years and you can just bring it out when you have an opportunity to wear it.

Before you buy, take some pictures. Look around in other shops for something similar but cheaper, and maybe even approach a tailor and ask how much it would be to make a similar dress for you? That way you could have it made specifically for an event in the future, and it will be unique.

If you really like it and will have the potential to wear it in the future without it becoming too small then I would say go for it if you can afford it. Think about some ways to dress down the look, with a leather jacket/ belt etc and just see if you can find alternative ways to wear it for the time being.

forever new is the biggest rip off. everything is way to expensive and its not even that good quality

Your question is asking who, so I am just gooing to say rich, possibly spoiled, people. Possibly. But if you have the money and really like it why not! You can even sell it after if you’re only going to wear it once.

But if you meant to ask if someone on here would do that, well I personally wouldn’t because clothing doesn’t amtter that much to me and there are a bunch of cheap places to get dresses that look fine to me haha.
