Who will help me with physics but also has math in it?

Someone help me with these questions please:)

  1. what should be the angel between two vectors of magnitudes 3.20 and 5.70 units. So that their resultant has a magnitude of 6.10 units?

  2. a hiker throws a ball at an angel of 21.0 degrees above the horizontal from a hill 21.0 m high. The hiker’s height is 1.750m. The magnitudes of the horizontal and vertical components of the velocity are 14.004 m/s and 5.376 m/s. Respectively. Find the distance between the base of the hill and the point where the ball hill and point where the ball hits the ground. (consider the hikerr’s height whike calculating answer>)

1)The first question is essentially a triangle question involving a triangle with side lengths of 3.2, 5.7 and 6.1. There’s your starting point.

  1. Use the s=ut+1/2at² rule. You need to calculate the time it takes for the vertical distance to be -22.75, so set s=-22.75. a=-9.81 (gravitational acceleration) and u=5.376. -22.75=5.376t-4.905t² rearranges to -4.905t²+5.376t+22.75=0 a quadratic equation. Use the quadratic formula for this to find out t. you will get 2 answers, a positive and a negative number. you need to use the positive number and put it back into the s=ut+1/2at² formula to find the horizontal distance, setting you as 14.004, t as the positive number you just calculated, and a as 0. The second half of the formula works out to 0 so you only really need to do s=ut. That should give you your answer ;)
Answer #2

Use the law of sines or the law of cosines for problem 1.
