Who wants to help me with my boy dilema?

Hey so I have a dilema… So last year I found out that this guy liked me but I didnt know him well enough to date him so I said we just needed some time to get to know eachother first. Anyways… In the mean time, he gets with another girl and he’s been with her for a year now but I know for a fact there is nothing sexual going on as he told me himself. But now I’ve got to know him so well and he is the sweetest guy I’ve ever met and I think I’ve fallen for him. We are friends but I would never say anything to him as im scared cause he has a girlfriend and as much as I like him, I dont want to ruin things for him. He never talks about his girlfriend around me and if anyone mentions her when im around he turns the subject to something else.. Why would he do this? And at partys and stuff he flirts with me but then goes back to his girlfriend. What am I supposed to do? I cant just give up liking him and I hate myself for not giving him a chance the 1st time please, I need advice. Thanks Oh and I put this in the general knowledge sect as it wasnt getting answered in the relationships one lol… :]

Re-categoried to Love and relationships…sorry, but putting it in the wrong section isn’t the solution to getting more answers. Try asking questions that are short, concise, easy to understand, interesting and have catchy titles. All those things will get answers, more than changing it to the wrong category.
