Who should I see about my depression?

What is the main reason why you would not want to go to your family dr? The Family dr. can help you and get you medication. It is fully confidential, and they are very understanding. They will talk with you, help you and they are very helpful. They are there to help you in any way they can. I know it’s hard to seek help, and actually get help, but it is what is best for you. I’m proud of you for admitting you need help, now take another big leap and get the help. I know that some counselors also have a degree where if you go talk to them they can also prescribe you some medications too. If you don’t want to go to your regular family dr. try going to another dr. in town that you don’t usually see if you would feel more comfortable with that. Let me know how everything goes. Well, you could always go see a psychiatrist! Maybe you have a family one, or it may be good to try someone new! They will help you sort out your problems in your mind without prescribing drugs and such. It may help to talk about it with someone who you have no personal connections with so they you are not afraid of them thinking differently of you because of it.
