Where was my dog's guardian angel?

Working from the Christian faith, there is nothing in the Bible that says everyone has a guardian angel, only that God occasionally assigns angels to protect individuals or become involved in the politics of humans. And there is certainly nothing in the Bible that says anything about God protecting dogs. As much as we may care for animals, the Bible makes it clear that they have no souls.

And though many, many people believe in the existence of guardian angels, remember that even if they do exist, they too were created by God and serve his will. So as angry and upset as you are right now, keep faith that it is all part of a grander picture, a plan which you cannot yet see.
