Who likes or dislikes

Turkey is NOT an Arab country … what is not to like about countries with amazing history and culture dating back thousands of years. I’ve visited several and suggest everyone experience the hospitality the people show Americans as individuals. Just which countries do you speak of?

You are right, they are not an arab country, but they are a muslim one. My mistake. I fell into the trap that the questioner was refering to muslims when they said arab countries. Just like Iran is not arab, they are persian. I was just in Turkey last week, in Kusadasi. Beautiful country, great people. They have a secular government, but 99% of the country is muslim.

That’s a very broad question. Why do you ask that in the first place if you don’t mind me asking? Specific countries may be easier to comprehend.

Fair enough in regards to Turkey. I tend to forget it’s Arab.

I agree toadaly, but it is most, not all arab countries. Turkey is a democracy.

I am not fond of authoritarian states, which includes all of the Arab world. I don’t hate the people though.
