Who knows if this is a tradition for prom?

Before prom are you not allowed to let your boyfriend see your dress before prom? Someone said its a tradition. I want to show my boyfriend but not if its not allowed. Im sure who cares but im wondering. Is it only for weddings? & do I need to ware a garter?

Umm no I have only heard that for weddings…it’s bad luck for the groom to see the bride in the dress the day before the wedding. But never heard of it…go ahead and show your boyfriend your dress, I always did to make sure their suits matched!

I have heard it that is for weedings, like if you show that dress then it’s bad luck or something. But I think that for prom your alright. :)

I’m pretty sure that’s just for weddings, but whatever you wanna do, do it. If you want it to be a surprise, then don’t show him, but it really doesn’t matter for proms haha.
