Who have already travelled far south east asia?

I’ve been to All of the oriental countries an pacific ocean countries while I was in the Marines an theres some good an bad places to go but thePhilippines at this moment for the last 2-3 years have had some major problems an american tourists are not really safe there until the trouble cools off.

South asia? Yes. Philipines? No. I’ve been to Bali, Lombok (both in Indonesia) for about six weeks a few times…great food, nasi goreng is one of my favorites.

I’ve been to Kathmandu in Nepal, twice…does that count? And Maldives for a few weeks. Maldives I’m partial to because my wife is from there…Nepal was great as well, met some amazing people, had good food, saw the monkey temple, etc.

If you get a chance to go to Maldives, I’d highly recommend the underwater restaurant. It’s a singular experience.

maybe next tour I’ll try to visit your wife’s country.. (: am going back to philippines on the 6th, and I just wanna know how others find my country.. (:

gotta book as early for maldives to get cheaper deals! lol!
