  I've had it.. it hurts but it didn't hurt as much as I thought and I'm terrified of the dentist! they make it as least painful as they can and it's better than getting it extracted, so get the root canal done.. it will hurt a little bit but not as bad as you're probably thinking :) hope it goes ok :)x

  keep the tooth, even thou you cant see it you will notice it when you eat certain foods. they make sure you feel it least as possible. they will probably give you meds for after when the anesthesia wears off, probably hurts less than an extraction in my opinion.
