Who has ever used henna on their hair as a dye?
Hey! So, I’ve done some research but I’m just curious if anyone has attempted henna-ing their hair. I have a few questions:
- can I just get regular [body art quality] henna powder and mix it with hot water and some lemon? is that enough to make dye? I have a darkish/medium brown kind of hair, will my hair color result in auburn/chestnutty-ish?
any personal experiences and extra tips will be great! thanks so much!
I did. And maybe it was just me but it didnt work very well.

hey there, you should rather buy the henna packs that are suited for hair. They should be ones you can just mix with water. I have tried light brown on my dark brown hair. It catches well, and the colour came out a brownish reddy colour (more brown) … Goodluck x
