Who: Has anyone taken presctiption antiboitics for acne??

I just started taking tetracycline 250 mg two times a day. its for pretty sevre acne which I have. I was looking up online and there were some posts that after taking this medication people ance actually came back even worse when they stopped and they became immune to it, can anyone tell me if they have taken this medication or any prescription antibiotics for ance, what your experience with it was the good and the bad, I would really appreciate it thankds

im taking minocycline 100mg/day I took it for about 3 months.. then stopped simply cause I kept forgetting to take them but my acne didnt get worse. and my face didnt get clear either so its basically the same as before I started the pills.

well I just go off using accutane(tho its also called amensteen) after 6 months and I had baaad acne. it worked wonders though. before I couldnt even touch my face without feeling extreme pain but now I can slap it and not hurt much ya know? for now it seems to be going away well, and from what I read it is like a permanent “cure” so lets hope for the best. I think I took what your taking before I got accutane though, and yeh it worked for a while but then it did come back worse and for that reason im guessing I got immune to it. so next visit with your dermatologist, I’d recommend asking about accutane.
