Who..do you think hes over me?

So I had this boyfriend 2 yts ago and just started talking again recently (didn’t have his # b 4) and we were talking today and we brought up this girl he told me about after we broke up. I thought he was lying because he sure didn’t seem to like the “girlfriend” I thought he made her up. I thought wrong. So today he asked me if I had a boyfriend. I said no. He said he had one. He’s my best friend but I miss him being my boyfriend to. I think he’s over it but I want to be sure. Guys how can I be sure? Without directly asking him!

Did you not think he would find someone else in the span of two years? He has already straight-up told you that he’s moved on from you and is trying to establish a friendship with you by talking about other people he is interested in. There is simply no way to misinterpret ‘’Hey, how have you been. Let me tell you about my girlfriend’’ as ‘’Do you want to get back together?’’ He’s moved on. You should do likewise.
