Who can please help! Question about the pill !! Urgent..?

Sorry im just really worried. I took the pill a few days ago and the lady at the chemist told me I shouldn’t get my period for three weeks after taking it because it should stop the egg from being released. Anyway just last night I got my period. I’m worried it could be something else, I dont know. I really dont. It seems like my period but I have to worry because im not suppose to get it now. Does that mean the pill didn’t work?? Im so confused. Please help. Thanks

Are you taking it every night? You said you took “the pill”. It’s an on-going process. You take it every day at the same time to be protected from pregnancy. Depending on the pill-you take it for three weeks then there’s a week break in which you get your period. It’ll take a few months for your period to become regular too.

no, it means the lady was wrong I dont know why shes working there if she gave you that advice the pill will not stop your period as soon as you take it the pill will protect you from pregnancy and it can help regulate your period (meaning youll get it at around the same time each month) however it can take a few months before it becomes regular if you skip the sugar pills (usually white) and go straight to a new pack of regular pills then you can skip your peirod because it will stop the egg from being released if you take the whole pack then you will receive your period during the time when your taking the sugar pills either way I think you should see a doctor and ask them about the particuilar pill your taking so they can give you more information about it

WELL IF you THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG MAYBE you SHOULD GO BACK TO THE DOCTOR JUST INCASE
