Who are some good theatre directors of the 20th and 21st century?
Hi, I’ve been set a brief research task for theatre, finding at least 4 theatre directors fro both the 20th and 21st century. Yet when I search for them online, it comes up with film directors or nothing at all when I find some names. I was just wondering if anyone on here could suggest some theatre directors, and maybe mention a bit about them. (I’m not expecting people to do my work, just if they could tell me any plays these people have directed, or what style of theatre they use, so I can research more into it.) If anyone could help me asap I’d really appreciate it :)

Tim Burton is my favorite! He has such imagination! He also did Sleepy Hollow & at least one of the Batman movies! I also like M.Night Shyamalan! He did a great job with Signs & The Village!
