White mark on thumb nail

Please let me know the cause of white mark on thumb nail. It’s visible since 15 days and white mark is increased a bit comparitively

it has NOTHING to do with Calcium…it means that while your nail was growing you hit it against something. So it kinda bruised it. As your nail grows out and over it , it will disapper

The white mark on nail is caused by lack of calcium. Drink lots of milk and it should go away.

it is a lack of calcium, you can drink as much milk as you want but it doesn always mean you will have enough calcium, calcium tablets are the best way to get them to go away, thats what the doctor perscribed me when I got that… I get it freaquently… its normal

I agree with ashley2k9, it isnt bc of not enough calcium… I drinka lot, of milk , and I always have them… they dont mean anything:)

it actually hasnt got to do with lack of calcium !!!

what it is is : you banged your nail on sumthing even like your door or wall anything and thats when it coes up I’ve had it checked by a doc !!

This might sound really weird but… someone told me it means your lieing abot something. I mean I don’t believe that but I had it too and it’s harmless andit goes away after about a month.

You probably haven’t been getting enough calcium, that can cause your nails to get white lines/spots on them :) Drink plenty of milk!

It means that you bent your nail back there. It will eventually grow out.
