Well… you get your piriod every month and if you don’t then you might be pregnet and also sometimes it chanches cycle so it’s a little late…

Ovulation is the releasing a mature egg from the ovary and menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining.

Stress, illness, and change in routine (exerising more or less than usual) are some things that can delay both ovulation and menstruation. Also, you do not have to ovulate in order to menstruate. When you are pregnant you do not ovulate and you do not menstruate(some women have vaginal bleeding throughout their pregnancy but that is not actual menstruation).
