Where should I get a piercing?

I would not trust ANY place that is offering free piercings. Who knows how sterile/safe it is. Go somewhere and pay if you really want one – you pay for the quality of service you get.

Also, I’m skeptical it’s “free” in the first place. They will probably charge you an arm and a leg for the jewelry itself, making it not free. And you always need to leave a tip.

id agree with editor on this one..def dont trust a place thats claiming free piercings and tats…the only way to really have a successfull piercing or tattoo, the shop has to be completely sterile and have a good reputation (which means they wouldnt have to send out fliers to get clients). if the place isnt sterile, your piercing can get easily infected and scar you permanently. I’ve had my nose pierced for a year now and I went to a completely steril shop and I still had to deal with a little infection (and something called a keloid, look it up its too much to explain here lol) and I washed my as often as my piercer told me. if you want to get something pierced, def be extremely cautious and go somewhere reputable. and remember, a healed piercing is pretty permanent so you have to be able to deal with having a permanent hole/scar on your body for the rest of your life…
