Where does weight you lose go?

I was always wondering where all your fat goes when you lose weight? I know they say you “burn your fat off”, but its gotta go somewhere!! Do you get rid of it like you do food downstairs, or what?!

Answer #1

I’m not exactly sure of the process, but basically when you exercise, your body grabs your fat and turns it into energy, which you then use/get rid of by doing your exercise through physical effort for the most part. So, that’s pretty much where “burn your fat” comes from - the fat acts as a stored-up fuel so that you can use it as energy to do things when you need to, at which point it is “burned up” by your physical effort. Does that make any sense?

Answer #2

umm…I dont really no maybe it just gets like all disolved or somethin I don’t know! ha! I never thought of this!!! and like what happens to the skin because it was all stretched out before?! hmm…

Answer #3

When you consume fewer calories than your body needs, your body turns to fat for energy. Body fat is broken down through a series of complex metabolic processes. Your body uses the energy produced by these processes. The waste products from these processes are water and carbon dioxide. You excrete water primarily through urine and sweat, and carbon dioxide by exhaling.

I didnt write this myself :D but this is pretty much what happens to it.
