Where can I find this type of letter?

So I am 17 and I am moving into a friends house but my friends parent wants me to make up a letter and have my parents sign it basically saying I am allowed to move and if anything happens my parents can’t say I wasn’t allowed to be there etc etc I cant think of what to write in it & make it sound like “professional” somewhat haha help? thankss!

yes like the advice above, but make sure to include a date and signatures. you can just write it out and have them sign and date it saying that the other family is responsible now. you can also get it notorized to make it ‘legal’ or somehing I thnk, but I thnk that costs money and im pretty sure the letter would work just fine, thats what I did.

Start out with “We…Mr. and Mrs. (names), give permission to our daugher, (name) to reside at the home of the (name) family. Then put in whatever conditions and clauses your parents or the other set of parents want to have in it.
