When will a postitive result show up on a pregnancy test?

I have had sex with my boyfriend a lot this last month and my last period was on november 10 and it is now december 8. I still havnt gotten my period. I took two pregnancy tests and they showed up negative. Could I still be pregnant?

Most home pregnancy tests will be accurate if you test yourself around the time your period is due (about 2 weeks after you ovulate, or release an egg from your ovary).

So you could still be, try around 2weeks after your next expected period to be sure, and make sure to take more then 1 test since they can be wrong. =]

I was in that same situation and found out today I AM pregnant! missed my period nov 4 - took a test nov 8, neg. still nothing by nov 20 - test 2, neg. decide one more will just CONFIRM I’m not pregnant on dec 5 - well that one was positive! so were the 3 I took one after the other that night! called my dr. yesterday - they ordered blood work stat - called today, def prego! went in and had the ultrasound… 9 wks 5 days pregnant! thanks EPT for the two false negatives!!!

definatly. you need to wait another week though before you test again
