When walking into an office how do you ask if there hiring?

Walking in to a medical office how do I ask for a job. Need advice ASAP

Answer #1

Actually it is best to walk in and ask. It’s not unprofessional nor is it rude. Not that I’ve ever gone job hunting, but it is a technique we learned in career counseling. You can make an impression that way, and you can let them know you are interested. There’s nothing wrong with selling yourself. Make sure you have your resume with you so you can drop it off. Even if they dont have a job opening then, they may call you at a later date if you make a favorable impression. If you call they’ll simply say no and hang up. You have the right idea. It’s ok to go in. This generally works best in small offices. In larger settings they’ll have human resource departments and then good luck getting through that.

Answer #2

Work on your spelling before you write your cover letter and resume. I edited your question title because the beginning didn’t make sense as written, and you also used “there” instead of “their” – first impressions matter!

Answer #3

call the office ahead of time and ask if they are hiring and if they are ask how do you apply…showing up unannounced is unprofessional and rude. you would be wasting your time and also the office’s if you just showed up and they weren’t hiring…

Answer #4

Just walk in and ask the person at the desk how you can apply for a job there or ask if they have a human resorce office. In most places human resorces/head staff does the hiring. Just keep in mind the position that you are applying for.
