When to move in together?

How long are people usually together before they move in together? My boyfriend asked me to think about it the other day. We spend 5-7 days together as it is and 2-3 nights a week. We dont fight, we do fustrate each other but what couple doesnt from time to time. How do you know when it might work out?

I would recommend moving in when it’s been at least a year together and when both are financially independent (number one cause of fights and break-ups). Also, you have to be ready for the changes it will bring good and bad (ex.: new frustrations as well as new fun stuff). I guess you should just talk about it and see how it makes you feel. You’re already half ways living with him which means you should have a pretty good idea what to expect.

I think that there really isnt a certain time period but I would wait quite awhile, like maybe even around a year. I’ve been with the boyfriend for over 3 years and just about 2 months ago we moved in together. Every relationship is different tho. its good that you see him that often because its really hard to go from seeing someone once a week to every day.
