If someone happens to lose signal on their phone because they are out of town, would the person trying to reach them hear dial tone or would it go straight to voicemail? Because I keep calling a friend and I have tried like 10 thousand times already and each time it will go to voicemail immediately after the second ring.
My experience with no signal is that it goes straight to voice mail.
Also your friend might be having problems with their phone or maybe they might be ignoring the call as soon as it starts to ring.
