when should I take another test, or go see a doctor?

my fiancee and I had unprotected sex like 2 weeks ago. after it I had realized I had missed taking my b/c pill for the past 5 days. last week I started feeling like sick to my stomache, even vomiting SMALL amounts in my mouth, increased headaches, and stomache pain. havent really paid attention to see if I have an increase in urination sensation. I took a home preg test last week and it came back neg. I have had my period for almost a week and within that time it has been VERY VERY light, small amounts, and brownish in color, and is still going on. any input in wether I should take another test soon or just go in and see the doctor?

Answer #1

during that time I had been working overtime at work and would put in long days and come home and sleep right away then get up and go again. so it didnt dawn on me until the weekend came and now I always have my pills with me in my purse so when I take my car keys out they are right there.

Answer #2

You accidently missed your pill for 5 days? O.o Wow. Well you best go to the doctors as soon as you can, because obviously even though the test came back negative, you could still be pregnant. It’s better to make sure than take the risk and wait it out.

Answer #3

See a doctor.

Answer #4

If you took a pregnancy test only a week after having unprotected sex, it’s quite possible that the test wasn’t accurate because it was taken too soon. In most cases, it’s usually recommended that you wait at least two weeks after having unprotected sex to take it, or to wait until after a missed period.

Either way, though, I do recommend that you go to see the doctor. They will be able to give you a definite answer.
