When's a good time to make up with my ex?

I just saw one of my ex’s at school last week. And it’s the first time I’ve seen her in a couple of years. We had a really great relationship. We got along great, and to this day she’s the closest I’ve ever come to loving a woman. And I broke up with her, (I felt as if I wasn’t ready for a serious relationship at the time, and back then I really wasn’t, still I feel stupid about it now.) Anyway I tried to make up with her over the years just to be friends cause she was really good to me, and I’d want her in my life even if it was just as a friend. But she had this bad habit of not returning my texts or cancelling on us hanging out at the last minute. Long story short, I took the hint. But it’s been about a year since then and maybe she’s grown up enough to just have a civil friendship with me. Should I try talking to her again, or is it just one of those things I gotta let go?

A couple years can change things. Just say hi and ask how shes doing. You have nothing to lose. If she is receptive great, if not then move on

Just let it go! People change and like they say, you can’t go home again. Forget about her and meet some new people man, there are plenty out there
