If you don’t want or need anything, then turn his desire to be generous into something positive. Have him donate the money he would have spent on something for you to a charity you both respect. The money will go a lot father than if he just bought you a trinket you didn’t have any use for.

I told everyone who would have gotten me presents this year to donate instead to a local parrot sanctuary. The director’s gratitude was overwhelming when the donations started rolling in.

think of something you really like to do. or something you really want your boyfirend to do. Like tell him, for christmas, you want a back massage or something like that, its free and it brings you to closer together.
