When can I legally move out?

What is the legal age to move out of my mom’s house with out being a run away child?

Answer #1

The legal age to move out depends on the state. For example, in Texas, it’s 17. As long as you can support yourself financially, have a stable environment to live in, you keep attending school, have a means of transportation, and let your guardian know where you are at and that you’re safe, the police cannot force you to go back to your guardians house.
